In an effort to provide all active and past members another great way of meeting other singles I feel you could all have some fun with this idea.   

Many of you have asked me to provide activities in which you can meet other singles;  and after much thought  I came up with this travel idea.   If I get a good response I will go ahead with it. 

Those who like the idea of traveling with other singles will be able to place a travel profile on our website. This info will be  in the next email I send out regarding this opportunity.  I will then gather all your requests and ideas and put together a trip for singles. 

Coupled up and receiving this email?….that’s okay.  How about a fun filled trip for coupled people in Four Plus Four?

Re:  Traveling with Singles.

It’s been  awhile since I have heard from you but I am still with Brian, who I met on my first dinner  in 2007 and we are very happy!!!  We have been on several vacations together and are looking at the Mediterranean  and/or the Caribbean next time.  It could be a bit of a challenge coordinating our holiday time with a group but  I wouldn’t mind hearing what you have planned for couples. 

I still pass on the name of your company to others as I still think it is the safest and easiest way to meet others.

Diane Lair, founder and previous owner of Four Plus Four, has given birth to her first children’s picture book.   It is a delightful story about her little Westie, Miss Muggles.   The book is called   Miss Muggles, the Comical Dog.     Children of all ages are enjoying this story over and over again.    Grandparents, parents, teachers, aunts, uncles, anyone with kids’ in their lives, should buy a copy and share the Muggles’ book with them.

Judy and I met at a fourplusfour dinner at Rosi’e Bistro Feb 8 2008 and hit it off right away. Tthe rest is now history and in early November we were married and are sharing the rest of our lives together. The dinner was the initial catalyst and the open and non threatening atmosphere helped us get to know each other quickly.

It is impossible for me to find a replacement at that hour….I have performed the odd miracle with 2 or 3 hours notice…if I happen to be in my office on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon.  If you think you may have to cancel please do so at the first sign of sickness….that way I have the heads up to find a back up if you can’t make it.   By the way if you are cancelling 1-2 hours before please call the restaurant and let them know.  That way the 5 people will be able to get on with their Meal….
